I’ve added some more videos below to help you get started using Hestia theme as well as Otter Blocks and Orbit Fox plugins. You don’t have to install Otter Blocks or Orbit Fox plugins. I recommend you start with just Hestia theme and when you’re more confident, consider adding the plugins. If you’re new to Hestia WordPress theme I recommend you watch the first video above at least once. It will help you understand what Hestia is and how it works. Hestia uses the default WordPress Gutenberg blocks. However, you get extra block settings for margin, padding and spacing. You also get 14 ready made patterns. Patterns are ready made page sections. You can insert these patterns into your page as-is, or customise them to your needs.

Hestia is newbie friendly.

Themes such as Divi are very powerful but they’re difficult to learn, which often leaves new users disheartened. With Hestia you can build a professional looking website with a fraction of the learning curve needed for Divi.

Few need the pro version.

Hestia’s biggest drawback is the price of the pro version. However, if you’re looking for a simple WordPress theme, it’s unlikely you need the pro upgrade. The free version is more than enough for most people.
