Logo, Navbar and Very Top Bar.

Logo position is in the header options navigation tab.

The Header Options tab of the customiser has three sub tabs.

Customise > Header Options > Navigation.

1. Toggle on or off: search icon, transparent navbar, sticky navbar.
2. You have 3 logo navbar layouts to choose from.
3. If you enable the navigation widget area, be carful what content you place inside it. Because the space is very limited.

The easiest way to find the very top bar menu and widget area is via these links.

The free version of Hestia theme has three logo navbar layouts.

• Logo left, navbar right.
• Centered logo over centered navbar.
• Logo left, widget area right, navbar on the row below.

More header options include…

Search icon.
You can place a search icon in the header navbar.

Transparent navbar.
On the front page only, you can make the logo and navbar header area transparent, so the hero photo displays behind the logo and navbar.

Sticky navbar.
The logo and navbar can scroll with the page or stick in position at the top of the screen as you scroll down so the navbar always remains in view.

You find all of the header options by going to: Customize > Header Options > Navigation.

Very Top Bar. The very top bar displays above the header and has two display areas.

• Widget area left.
• Navbar right.

Top Bar Widgets.
To place a widget in the widget area go to: Customize > Widgets > Very Top Bar. Or for more widget settings go to: Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > Very Top Bar. There’s not much space in the very top bar, so I only use paragraph text, links, and social icons.

Top Bar Menu.
To place a menu in the very top bar, go to: Customize > Menus > View all Locations. Then select a menu to display in the very top bar.

Very Top Bar on mobiles.
On small screens, only the very top bar menu displays. The widget area, which displays on the left on large screens, is hidden on mobiles. This area is so short that only one or two links will display on mobiles, so test if you add top bar links.

If you prefix a very top bar menu item link with tel, or mailto, icons display before the link. If you add social media links, Hestia changes the text to social media icons.

Logo navbar widget area.
Customise > Widgets > Navigation: This is a widget area that only activates if you choose the header layout that has a widget area to the right of the logo. Some people use this widget area to place a banner or advert at the top of the page.

Footer Menu Area.

The footer menu is a good place to catch viewers eyes before they leave your page. If you leave this empty, Hestia will insert your primary navigation bar here!
